BRUSHES Blusher Brush: Bristles on a blusher brush should be domed slightly to prevent any hard edges that may occur when you apply blusher. Concealer Brush: Concealer brushes should be flat, with a very slightly domed top, and is best used when covering spots, without smearing, and dark circles under eyes. A Synthetic Brush: Is best used if you wear liquid foundation, to help glide foundation on before blending. Make up brushes should be cleaned with very little warm water. They should be dipped into warm water, and the hairs should gently be separated with your fingers, but only as far as the metal part of the brush. If the wood becomes wet, it is more likely that the brush will fall apart. Once they have been rinsed, they should be left to dry with the bristles hanging over the edge of a table.
